FAQs
How to book an accommodation?
- Contact us to organize a visit.
- After the visit, please confirm your interest in the room and send a brief introduction about yourself that we can submit to the landlord for approval. You may include your desired move-in date, expected duration of stay, job location, and any other details you consider important to introduce yourself.
- Once approved by the landlord, we will ask you to send a copy of your passport and your job or internship contract.
- We will prepare the rental agreement and send you via email. We can sign the agreement electronically. If you are located in Luxembourg, we can meet and sign the agreement at the location of the property that you would like to rent.
Do I have to pay in advance?
You do not need to pay anything before signing the contract and visiting the property. The security deposit and agency fee must be paid after signing the rental agreement.
How much is the security deposit and is it refundable?
The security deposit is equal to 2 months’ rent and is refundable within one month after your departure from the property, minus any deductions for damages, or other charges that are the tenant’s responsibility.
How can I ensure that I will receive my full deposit back?
- Treat the accommodation with care.
- Avoid damaging furniture, appliances, flooring, or walls.
- Pay your rent on time.
- Provide your bank details for the deposit reimbursement after your departure.
How to plan my move-in?
If you’re coming from abroad, please inform us in advance of your planned arrival in Luxembourg and your estimated time of arrival at the property. One of our representatives will meet you at the location to sign the original documents and conduct the inventory check-in.
Please note that the latest check-in time is 19:00 on weekdays and 12:30 on weekends. Weekend check-ins are only available if your rental agreement starts on a weekend. Otherwise, we cannot accommodate weekend check-ins.
How is the inventory check done?
At the time of your move-in, our representative will inspect the room and inventory with you, noting any existing damages in the inventory check-in document. You will receive a copy of this document via email, along with a link to a Google Drive folder containing relevant photos. After the check-in, you have 3 days to report any additional damages that may have been missed.
At the time of your move-out, our representative will inspect the accommodation again and note any new damages (if applicable).
How to plan my move-out?
Please inform us in advance of your planned departure date and time. Our representative will meet you to collect the keys and inspect the condition of the accommodation. If you leave before the official end date of your lease, there will be no reimbursement for the remaining days.
The latest check-out time is 18:30 on weekdays and 12:00 on weekends. Check-out on weekends is only possible if your lease ends on a weekend.
What is the notice period?
You must inform us 2 months in advance if you wish to terminate your rental lease agreement. For example, if you plan to leave on December 1st, you should notify us by email no later than October 1st.
If I help you find a replacement tenant, can I leave earlier?
You may share our contact information with individuals who might be interested in the property. However, you are not allowed to post photos of the property online or organize visits independently. Each candidate must be approved by the landlord, and we cannot guarantee that the suggested candidate will be accepted.
Additionally, we cannot promise immediate scheduling of visits, as we prioritize accommodations where tenants have adhered to their notice periods.
You will be able to terminate your contract early only if a suitable candidate, approved by the landlord, signs the rental agreement and pays the security deposit and agency fee. The early termination will depend on the start date of the new tenant’s lease.
Can I register at the address?
Yes, EU nationals or nationals of a country treated as such, as well as the members of their family (regardless of their nationality), must declare their arrival with the commune of residence if they plan to stay longer than 3 months in Luxembourg.
Third-country nationals who are not family members of an EU national (or of a national of a country treated as such) must declare their arrival with the commune of residence within 3 days of their arrival in Luxembourg, regardless of how long they plan to stay in the country.
Any person who leaves Luxembourg to set up residence abroad must declare their departure from Luxembourg to the communal administration of their last place of residence in Luxembourg.

Is cleaning included?
Cleaning of the common areas in the house is included in the rent and is done once a week. Cleaning of private bedrooms is not included but can be arranged for an additional charge.
Are there extra charges?
For furnished rooms, all charges are generally included in the rent. The specific details are clearly outlined in the rental contract. The only additional cost is a one-time cleaning fee, payable at the end of your lease to cover the cleaning of your room after your departure. This means you won’t need to clean the room yourself, but you are required to remove all personal belongings and leave the room in an acceptable condition.
